Get Patent Status for Any Publication

Search and Create a list of Publications and find if a Patent has been issued for those Publications.

Patent Status

PATENT STATUS FILES


  • Open Saved Status File
    You can Re-open the previously saved Status File and Re-Check the Status of any Publication.

  • Create New Status File
    Search for Publications using the Search Terms, Check the Patent Status and Save the Status File.

OPEN SAVED STATUS FILE

  • STEP 1: Check Open Saved Status File and Select one of the Previously Saved Status File



  • STEP 2: Previously Saved Patent Status File is displayed.



  • STEP 3: Select the Publications that you want to find the Status For and Click Check Status Button.



  • STEP 4: ipMAGNET searches the USPTO Database and deterimines if a Patent has been issued for the Selected Publication(s).
    Click the Save Status Button to Save the Status File.



CREATE NEW STATUS FILE

  • Method A : Search for Publications
    You can Search for Publications whose Patent Status you want to find using the Search Terms.
    A Maximum of 50 Results will be displayed. You can Narrow the Search results using Multiple relevant Terms and the Boolean Operators.
    You can also Narrow the Search results using the Date Ranges.

  • Method B : Enter Publication Numbers
    You can also Create a New Status File,if you know a list of Publication Numbers.
    Enter the Publication Numbers, one per line.
    Click Quick Add Button when done.

CHECK STATUS


  • You can Select Publications either individually or 25 at a time by checking ALL option.
    Use Next 25 and Prev 25 to select the Next/Prev results.

SAVE STATUS


  • If you have Created a new file, you can Save the Patent Status File by Entering a FileName and Clicking Save Status Button.
    By default, the patent status files are saved in PatentStatus folder under C:\ipMagnet.
